Pitroipa and Dréossi’s “very good deal”

Pitroipa and Dréossi's “very good deal”

By spending between 3.5 and 4 million euros to sign Jonathan Pitroipa, Stade Rennes managed, according to Pierre Dréossi, a “very good deal”.
With Rennes’ recruitment team chasing the player since two years, the arrival of Pitroipa was already desired last year. But a deal couldn’t be struck at the time, for economical reasons.

The conditions have changed, Dréossi is now delighted, and the Burkinabe international has signed a contract for the next four years. Questioned by Ouest-France, the general manager has given more information about the former Hamburg player’s profile “He runs very fast and he is quite unpredictable with the ball. His profile is quite similar to those of Kembo and Gervinho”, Dréossi explained, adding that the player “could well surprise a lot of people”.
