Players on loan: Verhoek on the score sheet

Loaned to his training club ADO Den Haag (Netherlands) in the last days of the summer transfer window, John Verhoek scored his first goal since he returned to his country, on Sunday afternoon against Twente.

His goal, scored at the 77th minute of the game, didn’t change anything to the outcome of the match, since Den Haag was severely beaten (2-5) in the stadium of one of Holland’s best teams. The Rennes striker found the back of the net on an assist by his brother, Wesley.

Included in the starting line-up, John Verhoek played his second league game with Den Haag, following his “premiere” against Waalwijk last week-end (0-1).
