Stadium: the Bro Gozh has not been scrapped

The appearance of « Just can’t get enough » in the sound system of Stade de la Route de Lorient was quite noticed last Saturday evening for the match against Évian. As we did on Sunday, the newspaper Ouest-France also noticed the disappearance of the Bro Gozh ma Zadoù to the benefit of Depeche Mode’s hit just before the game.

In a press release published in reaction to those comments, the communication department of Stade Rennes made known that, if the anthem of Brittany wasn’t played this week-end, it was not deliberate but caused by a « software issue ». The Breton anthem should be played normally on Wednesday for the match against Udine.

The press relewase didn’t mention whether the introduction of « Just can’t get enough » will be played after every Rennes’ goal in the future, as it is usually the case in Celtic Park.
