Tranfers : Badiane goes to Laval

Stade Lavallois announced a transfer agreement with Rennes striker Lhadji Badiane this Wednesday on their official website. He should sign a two years contract after undergoing the medical within a week.

Trained at Stade Rennais, Badiane has never made his way to the professional squad, despite a promising 2006-2007 season in the CFA (19 goals). He became professional alongside Fabien Lemoine but Badiane didn’t have the same success, with two average loans in Ligue 2 (in Clermont, then in Dijon last season) and mediocre debuts in Ligue 1.
Badiane has played twelve games with the first squad (five games in Ligue 1), for only one game started and no goal. This transfer is therefore logical and should allow him to really launch his career in a lower league..
