Transfers: Leroy on his way to Evian

In all likelyhood, Jérôme Leroy should be wearing the colours of newly-promoted Évian Thonon Gaillard. Today, L’Équipe affirm that the former Rennes player has reached a formal agreement with the club from Savoie, and that Leroy will sign a (probably one year long) contract with the team in the next few days.

Despite an interest from Guingamp (L2) and Nice, Leroy should therefore play his final season as a professional footballer in a newly-promoted Ligue 1 side. In Evian, he will join two former Rennes players: Cédric Barbosa and Olivier Sorlin.
