Transfers: Mangane believes M’Vila « will join Real Madrid or Arsenal »
Interviewed Monday by website goal.com during an event organized by his sponsor, Kader Mangane heaped praise on his team mate Yann M’Vila, who arouses much curiosity from the foreign press.
« Yann is good enough to play anywhere in the world, the Senegalese defender asserts. He is a complete player. He has a good eye for the game, he is technically excellent and he is also very good at defending and regaining balls ».
These skills make M’Vila a player very observed by recruiters. « The top clubs are right to scout him, Mangane emphasizes. I see him with a big career in front of him. Yann has the potential to be one of the biggest players in the world. He has extraordinary abilities! »
Questioned on the potential destinations and the date of M’Vila’s transfer, the Stade Rennais captain recognizes that « there has been no decision taken so far », even if his departure seems to be scheduled for the end of the season. « He might go to England but he also likes the Spanish league, Mangane asserts. I don’t think he will leave in January but I think he will join Real Madrid or Arsenal next summer ».
During the last summer transfer window, the Madrilenian club expressed its interest for the player, but Pierre Dréossi turned down Madrid’s request bluntly. As for Arsenal, the English club proposed no less than 30 millions euros to obtain M’Vila transfer during the last days of August. An amount strongly refused by Stade Rennes.
