A disappointing result to close a lacklustre season, and which will force Antonetti and his players to start their 2011-2012 season as early as the end of July.

On Sunday, Stade Rennes will try to keep their fifth position in Lille. The newly-crowned French champion is a “good example of what should be done” according to Frédéric Antonetti. But are the Bretons capable of taking inspiration from the Northern team?

Left without Kévin Théophile-Catherine, the Rennes manager might also be forced to do without Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik in defence. Consequently, Dimitri Foulquier, Frank Julienne and Kamal Issah return in the squad.

Totally helpless and with no will, Rennes has not been able to take advantage of Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain results to get closer to the podium.
