Kembo and Dalmat return against Marseille

The names of 19 players have been published. One of them will have to watch the game from the stands at the Route de Lorient (the match sheet is limited to eighteen boxes).

Since last week-end, the defence is complete. Frédéric Antonetti is therefore expected to field the usual defensive line-up composed of Danzé, Mangane, Kana-Biyik and Théophile-Catherine.

At midfield, Yann m’Vila has been called by the Rennes manager although he judged him « slightly doubtful » because of a knee injury he picked up against Montpellier on Saturday. Also injured last week-end, Yacine Brahimi returns to the injury list for several weeks. He should not return in the squad before the beginning of April.
Therefore, Frédéric Antonetti has decided to call Stéphane Dalmat to give himself more solutions at the centre of the pitch. Dalmat had been left out of the professional team last week-end.

In attack, Jirès Kembo returns after a spell with the Reserve last week. As for John Verhoek, he will remain to the disposition of Laurent Huard’s Reserve team.

Except for the absence of Yacine Brahimi and the long-term injuries of Marveaux and Apam, Frédéric Antonetti will enjoy a solid squad to pick from for the reception of Marseille. A game flavoured with a perfume of Champions League, in front of a packed stadium.
