Mangane et Tettey out for the derby
Ligue 1, Brest - Stade rennais, Saturday, 21:00 CET. The situation remains difficult for Frédéric Antonetti with his squad. The Rennes manager will have to do without Kader Mangane and Alexander Tettey this Saturday. Only good news: the return of Montaño, suspended last week-end.
Rested for nearly the whole of this week, Kader Mangane was finally forced to renounce to the game in Brest this Saturday. Romain Danzé should therefore get the captain armband once again for his derby in his native Finistère. Frédéric Antonetti has got several solutions in order to fill the gap in central defence. He can in particular rely on John Boye, who has already proven his worth at this position.
At midfield, the Rennes manager has lost Alexander Tettey, victim of muscle damage during the week at training. The midfield is well furnished in Rennes however, and many are hoping to see Fabien Lemoine return in this sector of the game.
In attack, the return of Victor Hugo Montaño will benefit to the team, even though John Verhoek did his work to replace him last week. Frédéric Antonetti will travel to Brest with a squad of eighteen players.
