Boukari returns

In comparison to the squad that brought victory from Lyon, only one change is to be noted in Frédéric Antonetti’s group. Back from the Togolese national team with a minor knee injury a week ago, Razak Boukari has now fully recovered and takes back his place in the professional team, hence pushing youngster Fantamady Diarra out of the squad.

Since the players injured last week still need recovery, the squad called by the Rennes manager doesn’t reserve any surprises. Injured, Kader Mangane is still not included, as well as Abdoulaye Sané and Yacine Qasmi, called with their U21 national teams.
Close to returning, Apam, Boye and Brahimi could reappear on Sunday, in the CFA2 against Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Yet to be ready for Ligue 1, their recovery schedule includes playing time with the reserve, in order to get back in terms with competitive football.

On his side, Bernard Casoni has got to deal with three injuries, but he will also enjoy several returns. Suffering with an adductors injury since nearly two months, experience winger Sidney Govou is indeed returning in the squad, as well as forward Saber Khelifa,, suspended last week-end against Lorient.
In the other hand, forward Kévin Bérigaud (back), midfielder Guillaume Lacour (thigh) and defender Cédric Mongongu (sprained ankle) are unavailable. In their absence, the Evian manager will rely on the experience of his team, including the former Rennais Jérôme Leroy, Cédric Barbosa and Olivier Sorlin.
