Former staff: Hillion returns to Nantes

Former Stade Rennes scout Guy Hillion is expected to become the next Director of Sports at FC Nantes. Announced yesterday, the information was confirmed by Hillion himself in an interview to free newspaper 20 minutes.

A homecoming for Hillion, who worked for FC Nantes from 1984 to 2000, first as a coach in the club’s youth teams, then as a recruiter for the Academy.
Become a specialist in the recruitment of young players, he then spent five years with the Girondins de Bordeaux, before spending eight months at Stade Rennes. In April 2006, he was recruited by Chelsea and took responsibility of the club’s scouting operations in France.

At FC Nantes, his position will involve management of the professionals as well as the youth.
