Ligue 1, Saint-Étienne - Stade Rennais, Sunday 17:00 CET. Frédéric Antonetti has called a group of twenty one players for the trip in the Forez. Back from the AfCoN, Boye is one of them, as well as Boukari, returning from injury. Foulquier, also in the squad, is expected to start on Sunday.

Frédéric Antonetti will be relying on a nearly complete squad to face Saint- Étienne this Sunday. Although Hadji – in recovery – and Apam – who has relapsed in training after a minor hamstring injury in Sochaux – are absent, the Rennes manager enjoys the returns of Boye and Boukari. The former was involved in the African Cup of Nations, where he reached the semi-finals, while the latter had been side lined with a hamstring injury over the recent weeks.

Another change compared to the game against Sochaux last week-end, the return of Dimitri Foulquier, nineteenth man a few days earlier against Evian Thonon Gaillard. The Guadeloupian, who was described by Antonetti as “having outstanding qualities and managing incredible things in training” during the press conference on Friday, should start at right back instead of Romain Danzé.

For the rest, the team lined-up this Sunday afternoon should look like the team that started in Sochaux last Saturday with another exception: Tongo Doumbia is likely to replace Vincent Pajot, in order to bring more physical presence at midfield.
