Transfers: It’s getting closer for Verhoek

John Verhoek, 21 years old, is very likely to be the second attacking recruit expected by Frédéric Antonetti during the winter transfer market.

According to Dutch website Voetbal International, FC Den Bosch and Stade Rennes have found an agreement for his transfer this Friday afternoon. As soon as this week-end, Verhoek should travel to Brittany, the website adds. A chance for him to discover the infrastructures at la Piverdière, and probably to agree on the final terms of his future contract.

While his team played this Friday evening against Veendam, Verhoek remained on the substitutes’ bench during the complete game. Another sign that the transfer is likely to happen, Den Bosch could not take the risk to see the player pick up an injury.
