Interviewed by L’Équipe about the words spoken by Jean-Michel Aulas (read previously), Pierre Dréossi refused to comment the criticism made by the Lyon president to his Rennes counterpart.

However, the General Manager regretted the attitude of the LFP, affirming that its decision to advance the game was “against all logic”, before explaining why the change of schedule was disturbing the Stade Rennais.
« It is a mark of contempt for the teams who don’t play in the Champions League, Dréossi regrets. To warn us ten days before without studying anything, and leave us in front of the fact, this is clumsy. It even makes us wonder who’s in charge”. The Rennes GM who affirms – as opposed to his president – that he doesn’t “not care” about OL, explains his club’s point of view. “Lyon sees their problem, but we also have problems. We had to change the whole of our preparation schedule. Rennes deserves more respect!
