Players on Loan: N'Diaye and his regrets

Loaned to Paris FC (National) until the end of this season, Senegal goalkeeper Cheick N’Diaye expressed his regrets to newspaper Le Parisien. Rarely used since he arrived in Brittany, with only one Ligue 1 match to his name, he regrets that he “did not have his chance” in Rennes.

Contracted until June 2012, N’Diaye will strive to play as much as possible, which he would not have had the chance to do this year: “I know the National Championship well, and now I have to show I can bring something to the team. There is a good keeper here already, so I need to work hard and remain patient” in order to come back into the Senegal national team

Surprisingly, he adds that he would have been the third choice goalkeeper this season, had he remained in Rennes, before U19 European Champion Abdoulaye Diallo. A bit too optimistic?
