Injuries: not as bad as initially thought for Brahimi?

Injuries: not as bad as initially thought for Brahimi?

Injured during training on Wednesday (read previously), Yacine Brahimi is obviously out for the reception of AJ Auxerre this Saturday.

In the first place, the diagnostic was rather pessimistic regarding the young attacking midfielder’s unavailability, with an expected delay of recovery included between three and four weeks. However, according to Ouest-France this Thursday, Frédéric Antonetti mentioned a reassuring «medical examination », and unavailability reduced to two weeks.
This Thursday morning, Brahimi should undergo a MRI scan to determine the exact nature of the damage, but the results are yet to be disclosed.

Should a two weeks absence be confirmed, Brahimi could possibly return for the home game to FC Lorient, on April 16th.
