Transfers : Souprayen signs for Dijon

As we announced yesterday (read the transfer latest ticker), Samuel Souprayen will indeed play for Dijon next season.

The Dijon manager, Patrice Carteron, confirmed to the AFP that the left back trained at Stade Rennes has signed a four years contract with the club from Bourgogne this Thursday.
The defender from Reunion island is well known in Dijon, since he had already been loaned to the club during the 2009-2010 season. Souprayen’s performances had then give full satisfaction to Carteron and his coaching staff, which consequently convinced Frédéric Antonetti to trust him for the following season.

Starting the 2010-2011 season as the first choice left-back, Souprayen had picked-up an injury during the summer preparation, leaving the position to Kévin Théophile-Catherine. Hardly convincing when the Rennes manager gave him a chance (twenty games in total, in all competitions), Souprayen will continue his career away from Rennes, to try and break through at the highest level.
