Europa League: A Finnish Referee

After experiencing the refereeing of Cyprus’ Marios Panayi for the first leg, Stade Rennes will see their return leg against Metallurgist Rustavi monitored by a Finnish referee.

Indeed, Antti Munukka has been chosen by the UEFA to referee the game of next Thursday at the Stade de la Route de Lorient. A very young referee (29 y/o), M. Munukka is considered a promising referee. He has notably managed the final of the U17 European Championship in 2010, the year he became an international. An honour previously made to Anders Frisk and Roberto Rosetti, who went on to referee the finals of Euro 2000 and Euro 2008 respectively.
