Europa League: Belgrade smiles again

After two consecutive defeats, against Zlatibor Voda (0-2) and then against Stade Rennes (1-2), Red Star Belgrade went back to winning ways this Sunday afternoon against FK Javor Ivanjica (2-0), a mid-ranked club of the Serbian championship.

In a « Marakana » stadium with clearly less audience than last Thursday evening (10.000 fans compared to 55.000 against Rennes), Red Star players built their success by scoring one goal per half.
At the 22nd minute, defender Dusko Tosic scored from a corner, and the second goal was scored by the Brazilian Evandro at the 63rd, with a header after a cross from the left wing.

Robert Prosinecki modified his team slightly compared to the match against Rennes, with the reappearance of Ghanaian defender Lee Addy (injured last Thursday) and of Brazilian players Savio, Evandro and Mezenga instead of Kovacevic, Kadu and Kaludjerovic.
