Former players: Diouf in the English Championship

After terminating his contract with Blackburn at the end of August, El-Hadji Diouf continues his tour of England, since he has just signed a three-month contract with the Doncaster Rovers, a club from the championship based in the North of the country.

After his departure from Rennes and his successes with Lens, Diouf has played for Liverpool, Bolton, Sunderland, Blackburn and the Glasgow Rangers, where he was loaned last season. Soon to turn 31 – although some rumours give him a much older age… - the Senegalese striker will join former French international Pascal Chimbonda in Doncaster, as well as another former Rennes player, Hérita Ilunga, loaned by West Ham since a few weeks.
