Transfers: Pitroipa signs a 4-year contract

Expected since several days, Jonathan Pitroipa’s signature has been made official this Thursday. The burkinabé winger signed a contract with Stade Rennes for the next four years. He is now tied to the club until June 2015.

Pitroipa then immediately joined the professional squad for the trip to Carnac. The forward will wear the number 7 shirt, formerly worn by Jérôme Leroy. The fee paid for his transfer from Hamburg to Rennes is estimated to be between 3.5 and 4 million euros.
