Injuries: The hecatomb continues...

In addition to the two players suspended against Reims (Douchez and Doumbia), Frédéric Antonetti regretted the absence of five injured players: Apam (fitness), Dalmat (thigh) Mandjeck (thigh), Mangane (thigh) and Marveaux (thigh).

On top of the disqualification in the Coupe de France, the Rennes manager will have to cope with another injury. Taken out after fifteen minutes because of a pain in his right thigh, Jirès Kembo Ekoko has torn a muscle and is almost sure to miss the game against Paris Saint-Germain this Saturday, Ouest-France reports.

The newspaper also reports that Belgian forward Benteke, who should join Stade Rennes next season, has undergone external meniscus surgery yesterday. This injury will keep him out of the competition “but should not affect the negotiations regarding his transfer to Rennes”, Ouest-France précises.
