Bölöni : “Rennes, a very positive memory”

A Stade Rennes manager during three years, Laszlo Bölöni was naturally questioned about his former club during RC Lens’ pre-match press conference on Thursday afternoon.

« The atmosphere I worked in there, the relationship I had with the fans, it left something in my heart. It’s a very positive memory”, the Romanian manager explained.

«Although it’s sure I’m in Lens today, Rennes’ success makes me happy », Bölöni continues, “a little bit” surprised by the Bretons’ current second position. “It might be linked a bit to the season of the biggest clubs, who messed up the beginning of their league season”.

The RC Lens manager is therefore awaiting a difficult game, Saturday evening at the Route de Lorient. “Rennes is on a very good dynamic. It’s a team full of confidence, and Lady Luck is smiling to them as well, if you look at their game in Toulouse. The game will certainly be delicate, very difficult”.
