Former players : Petit to Arles-Avignon

The third goalkeeper in Stade Rennes’ 2008 Gambardella winning side, Florent Petit signed a three years contract in favour of Arles-Avignon (Ligue 2), L’Équipe announced on their website.

Petit was without a club since he left Stade Rennais at the enf of his contract in June 2010. The young keeper had completed several trials with Ligue 2 clubs (Reims, Grenoble...) without success.
Aged 22, he has now found a professional club, to try and launch his career. Petit had had a trial with Arles-Avignon during the season a try with Arles-Avignon, which turned to be decisive.
