Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Lyon. After a good start to the game and an early goal from Erding, Rennes was caught back in the second half, having failed to capitalise on their many dangerous opportunities to make the break. History repeats itself.

Ligue 1, Lorient 0 - 2 Stade rennais. Dominated in the first half of its derby against Lorient, Stade Rennes finally left the Moustoir as winners. Thanks to the inefficiency of the Morbihannais striker in the first place, and then thanks to some clinical finishing. The Rennais are climbing up the table and back in fourth place.
After an intense game against Lille, Stade Rennes will make the short trip to their struggling neighbour Lorient, this Sunday. The Rouge et Noir are facing a very committed derby. Main issue for Rennes, the internationals on duty earlier this week are either “very tired or even injured”, according to Frédéric Antonetti.
Ligue 1, Lorient - Stade Rennais, Sunday 21:00 CET. Without Erding and Kana-Biyik as well as Apam, suspended, Antonetti is left with reduced options in defence. The Corsican will also have to reconsider his plans in attack, where Hadji could be starting at centre-forward.

After a very good first half hour, the Bretons received a double knock with the dismissal of Apam followed by Lille’s goal at the end of the first half, before equalising through Erding in the last minutes of regular time.
