Ligue 1, Stade Rennais - Lyon, Sunday, 21:00 CET. Ligue 1, Valenciennes 1 - 0 Stade Rennais. Ligue 1, Stade rennais 0 - 1 Toulouse. Smothered by a Toulouse team showing solid in defence and dominating at midfield, the Rouge et Noir did not show much in their show-down against a direct competitor for European places. Ligue 1, Lorient 0 - 2 Stade rennais. Dominated in the first half of its derby against Lorient, Stade Rennes finally left the Moustoir as winners. Thanks to the inefficiency of the Morbihannais striker in the first place, and then thanks to some clinical finishing. The Rennais are climbing up the table and back in fourth place.
After an intense game against Lille, Stade Rennes will make the short trip to their struggling neighbour Lorient, this Sunday. The Rouge et Noir are facing a very committed derby. Main issue for Rennes, the internationals on duty earlier this week are either “very tired or even injured”, according to Frédéric Antonetti.
Ligue 1, Lorient - Stade Rennais, Sunday 21:00 CET. Without Erding and Kana-Biyik as well as Apam, suspended, Antonetti is left with reduced options in defence. The Corsican will also have to reconsider his plans in attack, where Hadji could be starting at centre-forward.
