Gyan returns to Rennes!

A week after his transfer to Sunderland (England), Asamoah Gyan was at La Piverdière on Tuesday to visit his former teammates.

At the African Nations Cup Qualification games last week-end, the Ghanaian failed to score – as since the beginning of the season – but delivered an assist against Swaziland (3-0).

Next Saturday, Gyan should start his first game in the English Premier League. For the Premier League’s fourth Game Week, Sunderland will play in Wigan, aiming to confirm their home victory to Manchester City (1-0) two weeks ago.
