International, U16: Saïd on the score-sheet

Called in the France U16 national team for the Aegean Cup currently played in Turkey, Rennes striker Wesley Saïd has managed a remarked performance for his first match in blue.

This Monday, the French were facing Belgium for their first game in that tournament. The game ended with a 4-3 victory. The young player, at Stade Rennais since he was eleven, started from the bench.

In just after one hour in the game, Saïd made an immediate impact by scoring France’s third goal on his first ball (64’). Four minutes later, he assisted Paris’ Hervin Ongenda for his brace and France’s fourth goal.

The tournament continues tomorrow, with a game against Czech Republic.
