Contracts: Jebbour’s future in jeopardy

With a contract ending in 2012, Yassine Jebbour is in a difficult position. Barred on the full-back positions, right or left, he was only offered his first appearance in Ligue 1 because of a cascade of injuries last December.

Wishing to gather experience on loan, the French-Moroccan has faced a strict refusal from Rennes’ management, the squad being too reduced to allow the departure of a player.

Consequently, Jebbour doesn’t know what his future will be made of. “My wish is to stay here, the young defender explain to magazine Foot Bretagne this month. I really want to make it in Rennes, I have to break through, it’s my desire!”
