M'Vila is «far from having given everything in Rennes»

Interviewed by Le Parisien for the launch of his official website (www.yannmvila.fr), Yann M’Vila repeated once again that he doesn’t feel ready to leave Brittany.

«I’m far from having given everything in Rennes, the midfielder explains. The day I’ll leave, i twill be because I feel strong enough in my head. It will mean I have certainties about my game. At the moment, I can still improve, especially in the attacking phases”.

Recently, the young international has experienced the joys of scoring (against Cannes and Arles-Avignon) and delivering an assist in Vaulx-en-Velin, as we recently indicated). “I discovered the joy of offering a goal to my team-mate, M’Vila comments. It was my first assist with the pros. It is an unbelievable feeling”.

This Thursday, the French international will know whether he is called by Laurent Blanc to face Brazil in a prestigious friendly at the Stade de France. “As a kid I used to support Brazil”, M’Vila remembers, before explaining that he “imagined himself as Cesar Sampaio, the number 6 in 1998”, rather than as a forward such as Ronaldo or Rivaldo.

The Rennes anchor midfielder, who gained « confidence » from working with Laurent Blanc, is now eagerly awaiting to know whether he will face the five-time world champions.
