International, U21 : Brahimi out

After scoring the Rennes goal on Saturday, Yacine Brahimi has been forced to decline the France U21 call-up he had received on Thursday.

Initially called by Érick Mombaerts, the Rennes midfielder is finally forfeit, according to newspaper L’Équipe. The young player, substituted at the 72nd minute against Paris Saint-Germain, explained he felt a “little pain” behind the right thigh. He will undergo examinations in Rennes early this week in order to assess the gravity of the injury.
