Antonetti “not satisfied” with the sending-off of Montaño

Delighted to come back from the trip to Lyon with a point Frédéric Antonetti showed clearly unimpressed, however, at the mention of the red card shown to his striker Victor Hugo Montaño, dismissed for an aggressive gesture towards Dejan Lovren, twenty minutes before the end of the game. Already forced to do without Razak Boukari, Yacine Brahimi and Jirès Kembo upfront, the Rennes manager knows he will have to do without his new Colombian international for a duration (at least one game) that remains to be decided by the commission of discipline, next Thursday.

«It’s hard to swallow. When I see Pjanic play the game until the end… », Antonetti criticise in reference to the Bosnian international’s foul on… Montaño at the end of the first half. And the Corsican backs his argument: « How many fouls is Lovren allowed to do in one match? When you see what he accomplished in the first half, and then…”. Antonetti can relax, the international break should allow him to see several attacking players report back for the home game against AJ Auxerre, on April 2nd.
