Celtic - Rennes : Many uncertainties in the Scottish side

For their second game against Stade Rennes, Celtic Glasgow could be facing an avalanche of absences due to numerous injuries.

At the moment, according to the Scottish media, three players are already out for Thursday’s game. Besides the club’s captain Scott Brown, who has been missing for several weeks already, Neil Lennon will most likely have to do without his vice-captain and defender Charlie Mulgrew, of forward Mohamed Bangura, and of left winger Joe Ledley, who scored in the first leg. South-Korean midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung is also doubtful because of a virus, while defender Mark Wilson is suffering with a knee injury.
The Scottish defence is therefore likely to be widely reshuffled, especially since left-back Badr El-Kaddouri and centre-back Thomas Rogne are not qualified to play in the Europa League.

On the other hand, missing last week-end against Hibernian, Glenn Loovens and Kris Commons should be returning for the game against Stade Rennes.
