Contracts : Doucouré turns professional

Voted the best player in this week-end’s Ploufragan tournament, Abdoulaye Doucouré has received another reward.
Indeed, according to L’Équipe, the 18 years old centre midfielder has just signed a first three-year professional contract.

Doucouré, born in the Greater Paris area, arrived at Stade Rennes aged fourteen from Les Mureaux. In the club’s 1993 generation, he shone as one of its best elements alongside Dimitri Foulquier notably, and was soon called-up in the French national team for his age category.
A very tough midfielder, Doucouré is at ease in ball recovery, but also in using it thanks to very good technical skills

Logically upgraded to playing in the CFA with the reserve at the beginning of last season, Doucouré saw his 2010-2011 season spoiled by a nasty injury. Returning for the season to come, he has immediately shown his great talent, notably with his excellent performances in Ploufragan.
