Dimitri Foulquier to turn professional?

According to Ouest-France, young defender Dimitri Foulquier should be signing his first professional contract with Stade Rennais « in the next few days »

At only 18, the Guadeloupean full back has been closeto the professional squad since several months, appearing for the first time on a Ligue 1 match-sheet in April, before taking part in the pre-season training camp and earning his first start in Ligue 1, on October 2nd in Lille.
Following a very convincing performance last week in Madrid, Dimitri Foulquier will now logically become a full professional player.

Born in the Greater Paris which he soon left for Guadeloupe with his family, the youngster was spotted by Patrick Rampillon in 2007, as he played with his departement’s selection in the U15 National Cup, in Clairefontaine. Arrived at Stade Rennes’ academy the following summer, aged 14, he progressed patiently through the age categories, until his debuts with the Reserve, and later the professional squad.
