Discipline : Lemoine suspended for 2 games

Caught by discipline commission after a bad gesture on Bordeaux player Alou Diarra, Fabien Lemoine has received a two-match ban this Thursday.

Summoned in Paris to explain his actions, Lemoine didn’t actually come to the meeting, but sent an explanation letter to the commission instead.
His arguments weren’t enough for the disciplinary department of the league however.

For all that, Lemoine can normally play the last journey of Ligue 1 on sunday night in Lille. The sanction will only take effect from next Monday. The two-game suspension will be served during the first two games of next championship season.
