Former Players : Didot and Hansson opt for continuity

Over the last few days, two former Stade Rennes captains have extended their contracts in their respective clubs.

Arrived at Toulouse FC in 2008, Étienne Didot extended the contract that ties him to the club from the South of France by three years. He is now attached to the club until June 2015. Aged 28 years old, the man from Paimpol is one of the key players in a very young Toulouse squad.

Meanwhile, and despite his club’s relegation to Ligue 2, Petter Hansson decided to extend his contract with AS Monaco with one more year. The Swedish defender, arrived in the Principality on a free transfer last summer, showed exemplary behaviour despite the sportive difficulties experienced by his club. Having reached the end of his contract aged 34 years, he will do his best to try and bring his team straight back to Ligue 1.
