Former Players: Pagis is preparing for the DEF

Retired from professional football since a bit more than a year, Mickaël Pagis is preparing for his future career as a coach. The former forward is in Clairefontaine, this week, where he is studying for his football coach diploma (DEF). The examination is scheduled for March.

Since he retired from the Ligue 1 grounds, Pagis stayed in Rennes. He frequently assists Laurent Huard during training sessions of the reserve team, providing the young players from the Academy with a lot of advice, and even sometimes training with the professional team.
After having earned his first coaching badge (BE1) last year, the obtention of this new diploma would allow him to take more responsibilities in the future. He shares a course with other former professional players, such as Steve Marlet or Yann Lachuer.
