International, U16: first cap for Coulibaly

International, U16: first cap for Coulibaly

Young Rennes’ defender Séga Coulibaly has been called-up with the U16 France team for the tournament of Val-de-Marne (between 23rd and 30th October), during which the national team managed by Patrick Gonfalone will face the United States, the Netherlands and Peru.

Coulibaly is the first Rennes’ player born in 1996 to be called-up by France in this category. Considered since a long time as a real good prospect, he has played for Rennes since he was 9 years old, after having started football in 2003 with CPB Blosnes, a club from the south district of Rennes.
Retained in the pre-selection camp last summer, the goalkeeper Maxime Pattier and the defender Alexandre Leroyer have not been called up by Gonfalone.
