LFP : Le Lay applies for a position at the board

Next Friday, the French professional football league (LFP) will renew some members of its direction board. This election follows the departures of Jean-Claude Dassier, evicted of his position as Marseille’s president and of former FC Sochaux’s president, Alexandre Lacombe, recently elected to the FFF.

France Football announced on its website that Patrick Le Lay, the president of Stade Rennes is one of the declared candidates for these two vacant seats. Former president of TF1 would be in competition with three other clubs presidents: Vincent Labrune (Marseille), Loïc Féry (Lorient) and Patrick Trotignon (Évian).
