Youth: Lasimant signs for Grenoble

Yohann Lasimant has signed a two year contract with Grenoble Foot 38, according to France Football’s website. On trial since the beginning of July, the striker had reached the end of his contract with Rennes.

After he had signed a first one year professional contract in June 2009, with an option for two additional years, Lasimant discovered Ligue 1 in Marseille (4-0) for the final game of the 2008-2009 League season.

Released after his loan in Sedan (Ligue 2) this season, in which he was only sparsely used, he was forced out of his training club. In Rennes, he had known success with the youth teams, famously winning the Gambardella Cup in 2008.
