Ligue 1 : To Dijon to start with

This Friday, The LFP revealed the calendar for the 2011-2012 Ligue 1 season. For the first time since the 2005-2006 season, the Stade Rennais will begin their championship with a trip to newly promoted Dijon, which will permit them to host the same Dijon team for the last day.

This game against Dijon will mean a reunion with Samuel Souprayen, but also with Patrice Carteron, coach of the Burgundian club.

The first home game of the season, during the second game week, will have its share of difficulties since it will oppose Rennes to the Paris Saint-Germain of Nicolas Douchez.A trip to Montpellier and the reception of Caen will complete the month of August.
