Erding will not come

The possibility to see Mevlüt Erding arrive is now a closed file at the Stade Rennais. Interested by the Turkish international’s profile, to cover for Victor Hugo Montaño’s unavailability, the Rennes management were not able to complete the Paris striker’s transfer. On L’Equipe’s website, Frédéric Antonetti showed a bit enigmatic by declaring that « all conditions weren’t gathered” for Erding’s arrival in Brittany.

Deeply annoyed by his management’s tendency not to take into account his recommendations, the Corsican manager seems to have given up on forcing their decision: “We need to be patient and grit our teeth”, while accepting the fact It is preferable not to rush things on the arrival of the much expected striker:“There are possibilities that would work for short-term, but I think it wouldn’t be good for mid-term”.

Meanwhile, Razak Boukari’s (Lens) name keeps on feeding the rumours in Rennes. A few weeks ago, Gervais Martel had refused any negotiations with Antonetti & Dréossi (read previously), who really like the former France U21 international’s profile. This summer, Boukari has received the authorisation of his club to leave in case of an offer of around 5 million euros.
