Rennes - Valenciennes : Kembo doubtful

According to Ouest-France, Jirès Kembo Ekoko is more than likely to miss Saturday’s game against Valenciennes. Subbed out with an ankle injury against Bordeaux, the young forward has undergone a MRI Scan that revealed a torsion. Missing at training on Tuesday and Wednesday, the French-Congolese is therefore a major doubt for this game.

Missing on Tuesday at la Piverdière, Nicolas Douchez and Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik were also rested. The first is still suffering from his injury and received more treatment on Wednesday. He should be playing for the last time this year before his operation (read previously).

As for Kana-Biyik, he was recovering from a knock receiving at the ankle on Sunday evening. Back to training on Wednesday, the defender should be playing on Saturday.
