Media : M’Vila honoured

When the end of the year comes, the award season is on. Over the last few days, daily sports newspaper L’Équipe unveils its best elevens, made of the players that marked the year 2010 according to them.

Therefore, after revealing their « international » eleven last Saturday, the paper announced its Ligue 1 eleven for the year. At the holding midfielder position, Rennes’ Yann M’Vila was chosen with a comfortable advantage over Auxerre’s Pedretti and Bordeaux’ Diarra.

The only player alongside Benoît Trémoulinas not to play for Marseille, Lyon or Lille, the young Rennes midfielder was the player receiving the most points from this vote, all positions mixed, equal with Marseille’s Lucho.

Kader Mangane was aslo close from entering this « ideal eleven », finish in the third position at the centre back position, behind Marseille’s Diawara and M’Bia. Rod Fanni arrives fifth at right back, with Jimmy Briand and Moussa Sow both fourth, respectively at right winger and centre forward.
