Injuries: Reassuring news?

Injuries: Reassuring news?

Substituted on an injury after he held the back of his thigh at the end of the first half, on Sunday evening in Auxerre, Jirès Kembo has undergone medical examinations which revealed “reassuring”, the club announced on Monday night. The press release didn’t give any additional information regarding the injury.
After the game in Auxerre, Frédéric Antonetti was worries his player could have pull or even torn a muscle, which would had kept him out for at least three weeks, while noting with relief that Kembo didn’t “hurt when walking”. Cautious, the club hasn’t announced a date for his return, but the mood seems to be optimistic, and the possibility of a big injury seems to have been written off.

Also injured to the thighs during the week, Youssouf Hadji and Yacine Brahimi don’t seem to badly hurt either. According to the club’s press release, both players were involved in the cool down session with their team-mates on Monday, before having a specific session with the club’s physio Nicolas Dyon.
Since then, both players have been called-up by Frédéric Antonetti for the Coupe de la Ligue game against Le Mans on Wednesday, and likely to feature in this game.
