Nineteen players to reach the quarter-finals

Coupe de France, Stade Rennais - Évian, Tuesday 18:00 CET. In order to try and reach the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France, Frédéric Antonetti called a group similar to the nineteen men who made the trip to Nancy last Saturday, to one exception: Yassine Jebbour is replaced by Dimitri Foulquier.

Rennes caught a cold

Ligue 1, Nancy 0 - 0 Stade rennais. In difficult conditions, Stade Rennais didn’t shine but still manage to salvage a draw from their trip to Nancy. After a lively and balanced first half, the second was more difficult for the Rennais, who never managed to find a way round the Nancéiens.

Not clinical enough when they could have extended their lead after Doumbia scored the opener, the Rennais then saw Marseille come back and win the game following collective mistakes by the Rouge et Noir.

Rennes struggles but qualifies

Coupe de France, Nice 0 - 0 Stade rennais (4-5 pen.). Despite a lack of imagination in attack, Frédéric Antonetti obtained their qualification for the next round through a penalty-shootout session.
