Post-academy rather than Academy training ?

It was time for the game to end

Ligue 1, Montpellier 4 - 0 Stade Rennais. Completely outplayed by a much superior Montpellier team, Rennes conceded a heavy defeat, their first loss of the season, at La Mosson. Visibly without energy, the Bretons had barely any chances on goal and were heavily dominated throughout the game.

Dalmat and Pajot left to rest, Brahimi still out

Ligue 1, Montpellier - Stade Rennais, Sunday at 17:00. For his team’s third match in eight days, Frédéric Antonetti decided to leave Stéphane Dalmat and Vincent Pajot to rest. Both midfielders as well as Yacine Brahimi have been left out of the eighteen-player squad which will travel to Hérault on Saturday.

Rennes make a big step

Europa League, Red Star Belgrade 1 - 2 Stade Rennais. A good performance from the « Rouge et Noir », who managed to snatch the win in the white hot atmosphere of the “Marakana”. Dominated at the beginning of the game, and conceding the first goal on a penalty, the Rennais managed to come back and equalise before winning the game through goals by Pitroipa and Montaño.

Pitroipa, spectacular and decisive

Ligue 1, Stade rennais 1 - 1 Paris SG. After stumbling on Salvatore Sirigu for most of the game, Stade Rennais finally came back in the game thanks to Jonathan Pitroipa, their twirling attacking recruit. As for Paris, they escaped with a draw and ended their attacking drought at the Route de Lorient.

Ligue 1, Stade Rennais 1 - 1 Paris SG. Dominated at firstm then dominant themselves, Rennes held Paris SG to a logic draw. Trailing, Antonetti's men equalised in the last minutes of the game through Pitroipa, whose performance in this match made up for the lacklustre performance of the rest of the attacking line.
