Ismaël Bangoura left the Stade Rennais for Dubaï in a rush. This Tuesday, the striker, in conflict with Antonetti, replied to “Le Mensuel de Rennes” to “explain to the fans” the reasons of his choice.

The Stade Rennais’ Guinean striker signed a contract with the club of Al Nasr in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The transfer fee is thought to be around 8 million pounds, according to information from the Mensuel de Rennes. The transfer was made official by the club this afternoon.

The Ghanaian international striker has signed a four year contract in Sunderland (England). Stade Rennes receive a transfer fee of about 16 million euros, but lose their top goal scorer of the last season.

A few hours before the end of the transfer market, things are quickly evolving. Asamoah Gyan and Ismaël Bangoura seem well on their way to foreign clubs. To replace these departures, Rennes is thought to be following former U21 French international Yoan Gouffran (Bordeaux).
